Irish Aid
Sightsavers Ireland and its partners benefit from the generous support of the tax-payer through Irish Aid, the government's development aid programme.
Since 2004, when we received our first grant, the support that Irish Aid has given to Sightsavers Ireland has supported thousands of people. From 2008 to 2011 they donated a total of €2,560,000 through the Civil Society Block Grant programme.
The details of the countries that have been supported in the first two years of the grant and the levels of support are in the related information document on the right-hand panel of this page. Sightsavers Ireland would like to sincerely thank Irish Aid for its continuing support.
