Junior Painter Awards

2011
And we have a winner, well actually we have 12 Regional winners, 1 Special Needs winner and 3 Commendation Award winners!

Over 5,000 entries came flooding in from primary schoools all over the country. Our office was awash with colours, sparkling princess designs and aliens!

It took us hours to choose which paintings were the best as the standard was so high but we managed, with the help of artist extraordinaire, Jenny from the Art & Hobby Shop and John Fleming, over very own CEO.

Click here to view all 16 paintings which will be on display during our Awards Day in the National Botanic Gardens in February.

A HUGH THANK YOU for all the effort students, teachers, parents and after school groups put in to make the competition so fantastic this year.

Keep an eye out for the overall winner to be announced in February too! They'll win a mega Arts & Crafts hamper from the Art & Hobby as well as gift vouchers worth over €250!!!

ntry packs will be sent to every primary schools in Ireland in September but you can pre-order an entry pack by calling us on 01 663 7666 or emailing schools@sightsavers.ie.
