Optilase Laser Eye Clinics Support Sightsavers
Sightsavers Ireland is the Optilase Charity Partner from 2011-2014. Optilase is Ireland's leading Laser Eye Clinic and helps people regain sight with up-to-the-minute laser eye treatments. With clinics in Dublin and Cork they provide a quality service employing some of the top eye specialists in the country.
Optilase aims to raise over €30,000 for Sightsavers over the next three years. Initially Optilase will support the construction of an eye unit at Nampula Central Hospital in the north of Mozambique in southern Africa. The region has a population of over 4 million people and currently has no specialist eye unit.
Speaking of the partnership Sightsavers Ireland CEO John Fleming said ‘Optilase and their patients will be playing their part in improving the quality of eye care in Mozambique. We would like to thank them sincerely for their support'
