Become a corporate partner

Corporate Involvement is a valued element of the support received by Sightsavers International. Any size of business, large or small, can work with us to change the lives of people who are needlessly blind in the developing world. We believe in forming a close partnership with our corporate supporters and that the relationship should benefit everyone involved. Together we can organise innovative staff fundraising campaigns, powerful marketing promotions, and morale-boosting payroll giving programmes.

Optilase Laser Eye Clinics Support Sightsavers

Sightsavers Ireland is the Optilase Charity Partner from 2011-2014. Optilase is Ireland's leading Laser Eye Clinic and helps people regain sight with up-to-the-minute laser eye treatments. With clinics in Dublin and Cork they provide a quality service employing some of the top eye specialists in the country.

Optilase aims to raise over €30,000 for Sightsavers over the next three years. Initially Optilase will support the construction of an eye unit at Nampula Central Hospital in the north of Mozambique in southern Africa. The region has a population of over 4 million people and currently has no specialist eye unit.

Speaking of the partnership Sightsavers Ireland CEO John Fleming said ‘Optilase and their patients will be playing their part in improving the quality of eye care in Mozambique. We would like to thank them sincerely for their support'

 The Book Centre

The best seller this year at The Book Centres in Waterford, Kilkenny and Wexford, and Barker & Jones bookshop in Naas is the gift of sight. The bookstores have generously matched money donated by their customers. So far, the bookstores have raised over Є24,000 for Sightsavers' work.

A big thank you to The Book Centres, Barker & Jones and the readers of Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford and Naas.
