The Book Centre

The best seller this year at The Book Centres in Waterford, Kilkenny and Wexford, and Barker & Jones bookshop in Naas is the gift of sight. The bookstores have generously matched money donated by their customers. So far, the bookstores have raised over Є24,000 for Sightsavers' work.

Considering that for just €22 we can provide a Braille kit to a child in a developing coutry you can imagine how this generosity will allow blind children and adults to gain an education and enjoy reading just like the generous customers and employees of The Book Centre and Barker and Jones do.

A big thank you to The Book Centres, Barker & Jones and the readers of Waterford, Kilkenny, Wexford and Naas.
