Dublin Marathon - the Dublin Marathon takes place on Monday 28 October 2013. Here 10,000 people will run through the historic streets of Dublin helping to raise vital funds for the charities of their choice. We would love that to be Sightsavers! Gealforce West - this is the largest one-day adventure race of its kind in the world. It is a multi-sport adventure race involving cycling, running, hiking and kayaking. The course is aprox 67km long  from the stunning Glassilaun beach to Westport. En route there are some significant obstacles to cross, including Killary Harbour and the famous holy mountain of Croagh Patrick. This is a serious adventure! It is also just one of many Gaelforce events so check out the website and take part on behalf of Sightsavers!

Flora Women'sMini Marathon - The biggest women's event of its kind in the world; do 10K for Sightsavers! Did you know that, of the millions of blind people in the world, 66 per cent are women? You can help us to help them. We can restore people's sight and help rehabiliate blind people to become valued members of society with your help.

Cork City Marathon - This 26-mile marathon through beautiful Cork city is happening on 3 June 2013. Participants can do the full marathon, a half marathon, a relay marathon or a youth team marathon. Check it out!

The Kerry Challenge - 75K Challenge set in lovely Kerry from the 8-10 June. Take in breathtaking Slea head, acres of unspoilt countryside and view the awesome cliffs reaching up 1000ft!

Achill Half Marathon - make a holiday of it this July and visit Achill Island for the Elvery Sports Achil Island marathon! Happening on Saturday the 7th of July.
