The Sightsavers Annual Review Highlights are published in June each year and include information about all of our activities during the previous year. Achievements

 

Working with our partners in 2011, we carried out:

• Over 31 million treatments to prevent or cure blindness
• 251,048 sight-restoring cataract operations
• Training 134,413 people to deliver primary eye care to diagnose and treat eye problems
• Administering over 79.5 million treatments to protect against neglected tropical diseases (NTDs)
