We’re coming back to Gaillimh
Last summer, Sightsavers launched the Missed Moments campaign in the City of Tribes. On March 11 we’re coming back, just in time for Seachtain na Gaeilge!
The Missed Moments campaign, taking place in Galway from 11 March, asks people to think about the moments they would miss most if they were blind.
The campaign aims to raise money to save the sight of 250,000 people living in some of the world’s poorest countries – equivalent to the population of Galway city and county.
If you’d like to give the gift of sight, look out for our interactive digital display unit, which will feature in Eyre Square from 11 March.
To activate the display unit, just tap your debit or credit card to donate €2. You’ll then be able to watch a video showing how your gift can help to save someone from a lifetime of missed moments.
