Sightsavers receives $1 million donation to fund essential eye health work

The donation, from charitable fund Arcadia, will enable Sightsavers to continue its work to fight avoidable blindness in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Jackie Carroll, from Santry in Dublin 7, has had two cataract operations. She ran the VHI Mini Marathon in 2016 and raised €270 for Sightsavers.
